Now hiring a Director of Discipleship!

St Mark UMC seeks to hire a part-time Director of Discipleship responsible for developing and coordinating a comprehensive program of Christian Faith and Discipleship with an emphasis on children's and family ministry. It is important that the Director inspires and excites children and young families. The ideal person will play an important role in strengthening the foundation of our children's ministry, rebuilding and growing this vital part of the church, while also coordinating discipleship opportunities for their parents in cooperation with the Pastor. Our children’s program is to be a place designed so children can safely grow in their understanding of God.

DIRECTOR OF MUSIC MINISTRY

St. Mark United Methodist Church, in Knoxville, TN is seeking a part-time (approx. 20 hours per week) director of music ministry. Our congregation is rooted in Methodism, and in our Rocky Hill community. We are seeking a person who will add a vibrant and energetic mix of music for both those who love traditional music, and those who appreciate more contemporary music. The ideal candidate will be someone with a call to serve God with music, who will support, foster, and coordinate the musical activities of worship within the church.
